O, really, that's expensive,ha?! But I want to learn something more, what aspect of this opal is strange of you to feel it's from africa, not Australia? As far as I konw, Australia also produce this kind of Opal. 3ks a lot!
I bought it from a friend of mine, who is a wholesaler, not from the retailer in the market, so I think the price is good enough compare with others. Do you think so? And where are you from, my firend? Australian or Chinese Australian?
If you can recommond some special black opals, I will sell this one instead. Australia black opal is a high level than this one, although I also like this opal a lot.
from two parts, first would be the opal polish. if that is the good opal, after the initial polished, it shouldn't like that; and the other would be the opal chatoyance. the austrailian nature opal chatoyace is really different compared with the opal pic that you uploaded.
well its really depends on, really hard to tell at this stage due to i am not really sure about the chinese opal market. as i know, there are a few big opal produce companies in Australia, none of them are really big companies but they had the clients all over the world and make good sale all the year. as i know opal in africa, the quality is poor and after 5 years, it is easy to get break. if you really like that, you can add wechat on me which is frankzhang0320, i know one boss from opal produce company in Australia, can send the opal pic to you and give you the best price... by the way i am chinese australian. cheers
