Dear Valued Client,
All of us at GIA would like to thank you for your business and support throughout the year. 多谢一年来的支持We realize that during the holidays you may feel compelled to acknowledge our relationship by providing gifts to specific employees or departments. 节日期间你可能想以礼物对员工或者部门进行感谢We appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness.谢谢你这么大方 However, we want to remind you that GIA operates under a strict Code of Conduct that prevents an employee from accepting gifts or gratuities of any kind during the holidays, or at any other time of year.不过我得提醒一下你我们有关节日和平时收受礼物的职业操守规定。
GIA’s ethics policy is in place to safeguard the Institute’s standards as an independent and nonprofit organization and to ensure GIA’s grading and identification methods remain unbiased and objective.GIA的操守规定是为了保持我们鉴定公正 Adhered to by all GIA employees, the policy provides a set of guidelines that help govern our actions with all clients, vendors, students, and the public we serve. 我们的规定是为了我们的客户销售商学生和公众的Included in these guidelines is a stipulation that absolutely prohibits the acceptance of gifts or gratuities by any GIA employee.规定里面说了职工收受礼物是绝对被禁止的
Further, the policy stipulates that all employees must avoid situations that conflict in any way with GIA’s ability to serve its clients in the most professional and ethical manner. 规定要求所有职工要自觉避免任何对服务客户利益有冲突的情况 Employees cannot solicit or receive any form of compensation, including cash, gifts, meals, or entertainment from clients, vendors, or any individual or organization who might have a professional relationship with GIA.职工不能收受客户销售商或任何有关系的个人或团体的报酬，包括钱，礼物，吃饭，看演出之类 In turn, we request that our clients respect this rule and refrain from attempting to give gifts of any kind to individual employees.同时我们也请求我们的客户尊重我们的规定，不要给我们职工任何礼物。
